Monuments & Memories is a concept in which I photograph historic sites and events related to them. I am interested in the layers of history that accumulate through the time of human occupation. Can we see these layers in the sites? If we tune in carefully, can we hear the voices of the ancients? How do they speak to us? If they were literally speaking, what would they say?
